CreditMarket Index: mean effective rate for credits on home appliances and electronic equipment is stable at 127.04%

CreditMarket Consumer Loan Index keeps stable at 127.04% (an effective rate per annum, in UAH). The information is as of 14 December 2011.

Volodymyr Kompaniets, Operations Director at KreditMarket: “Four banks from our CreditMarket Consumer Loan Index list have changed their terms and conditions for consumer crediting, for two weeks from the previous calculation. Two of them applied changes downwards. This is the first modification of terms and conditions for that type of crediting for two months (since 5 October 2011.) As modification vectors were different, the mean effective rate for credits on home appliances and electronic equipment remains at the same level. To our mind, banks want to engage more customers at the pre-holiday time by reducing the cost of credits for home appliances and electronic equipment. We don’t expect any significant changes in this crediting segment in near future.”
