Disposable income per capita went up by 10.3% for one year in Ukraine

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine has given publicity to information about disposable income per capita in various Ukraine’s oblasts for 3Q 2011. The specified information does not consider the income gained via the shadow economy.

Note that the regional differentiation in income among Ukrainian population is rather high. Kyiv – the capital of Ukraine – leads the pack. There, in Kyiv, disposable income is 178.6% as compared with the country’s average income. Other oblasts that follow Kyiv oblast by average income are Donetsk (111.8%), Zaporizhia (104.9%) and Dnipropetrovsk (104.7%) oblasts. The lowest income is recorded in Zakarpattia (74.8%) and Chernivtsi (77.4%) oblasts. The rate of growth in real income varies much by each oblasts. Considering the country average growth rate at +10.3%, the total rate ranges from +6.7 (Luhansk oblast) to +14.6% (Zakarpattia oblast).
